Story
In classic DC style, we met through a young professionals organization that focused on a very nerdy topic - the nuances of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Through years of serious and not-so-serious conversation, we found we had many other similar interests ranging from crime TV shows, to domestic and international conspiracy theories, to stand-up comedy.
While it was clear to our friends from the beginning that we should be dating (thanks to all of you for the subtle and not-so-subtle hints and pushes), it took us longer to figure it out. When we became a couple, much to everyone's gratification and joy, we had a solid foundation of shared values, experiences, and admiration for each other on which to build.
