Other things to know!
** Each unit comes with one 4-seater golf cart, so if you have more than 4 people staying in the home, you will need to request an additional golf cart upon booking.
** Haig Point requires a 25% deposit upon booking with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival.
** You can also rent bicycles! Haig Point offers 26”, 24”, and 20” bikes. Pricing is $15.00 for one day, $23.00 for 2-3 days, and $27.00 for 4-7 days.

Haig Point is accessible by Private Ferry. The ferry leaves PROMPTLY from Hilton Head every hour on the half hour. Check out the ferry schedule and plan accordingly.

For those staying on Hilton Head Island, please note that you will want to take the 3:30pm Ferry to be at the ceremony on time!

NOTE! The last ferry of the night departs Haig Point at 11:40 pm!

Rental Properties on Haig Point are limited. Haig Point is the private section of the island where we will be hosting the wedding. Just outside of the Haig Point gates is a neighborhood called Melrose. If you are looking on Daufuskie, and outside Haig Point, this is where we suggest you stay! SPECIFICALLY FOR GUESTS STAYING ON THE PUBLIC SIDE OF DAUFUSKIE:
Daufuskie Transit is the only taxi service on Daufuskie Island allowed into Haig Point. Please make arrangements in advance with Daufuskie Transit to get you to and from each of the events.
-- Also note - gas powered golf carts are not allowed in Haig Point. --

Water Taxis are also available in addition to the Haig Point Ferry. These are by reservation only, so be sure to reach out to them directly.

This airport is located on the island and is very convenient!
Taxis/ Ubers / Lyft may be available when you land in Hilton Head, however, we suggest that you schedule your transportation to and from the airport in advance since its such a small airport.

This airport is located about 40 minutes from the island without traffic. Taxis/ Ubers / Lyft are typically available when you land in Savannah. Upon your departure back home, you will want to make sure you schedule your transportation to the airport in advance since they aren't as easy to access on Hilton Head Island.
