Story

Every fairytale love story has a few key ingredients, and Morrisa & Greg's is no different- a chance introduction, a trusty sidekick, a great love that endures across long distances, and a happily ever after.

Morrisa's Story:
Sometimes you just need a shadchanit (Jewish matchmaker) to work her magic. Although I had been friends with Jillian Lewis for years, I only had met her mother, Daryn, a handful of times over the years. One cold evening in January Jillian begrudgingly texted me saying her mom wanted to set me up with a family friend who would be an amazing match. For those of you who know me as long as it's not sky diving the usual answer is yes. What did I have to lose?

Although Greg gallantly offered to meet me in NYC for our first date, I wanted to experience what Hoboken was all about and see if this diehard New Yorker could ever see herself there.

Over an evening of sake bombs and plenty of salmon avocado sushi Greg and I quickly bonded over our love of the Lewis' and skiing.

The rest is history!

Greg's Story:
Who knew that winter break going to visit my parents would end up resulting in the best moment in my life? I woke up that morning and one of my mom's best friends, Daryn Lewis, was at our house. After I brought Max downstairs and began talking to Daryn, she started telling me about her daughter's friend, Morrisa. I will always remember the way she said, "Jillian's friend Morrisa would be perfect for you". She couldn't have been more right.

A few days after I returned home from Florida, I received a text from Jillian. She told me how her mom was really pushing the idea of setting Morrisa up with me, and gave me her info. We met up a week or so later after Morrisa returned from a ski weekend in Vermont. I knew right away there was something special about Morrisa.

Our first date was filled with sake and sushi and was one of the most fun nights of my life. I couldn't wait to see her again so we quickly planned another date, this time in the city. Our love has grown deeper and deeper every day since then and I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with my love.
