Story
We were friends. From going to the same palli and me being impressed by this amazing singer and her being impressed at this handsome photographer to eventually being in the same band together to shooting music videos together — there was always this spark about Niki. A bundle of joy that honestly couldn’t be contained (still can’t).
Then, one fortunate night, we went to Grazeland to grab a feed with the band crew… and ended up catching Covid together. Fourteen days of quarantine meant way too much time on our hands — which turned into video calls and games that started as a group thing, and eventually just became the two of us. And I guess… that’s kinda where it started :)
From endless messages and FaceTimes, to our first proper date in Sydney, to all the travel back and forth between Canberra and Melbourne just to hang out — it was slow poison. Until one day, we both just kinda looked at each other and went:
“Yeah. This is my person, and this is who I want to do life with." And here we are. ❤️
