How did you first meet?
We worked at the same building (Ergon House) and shared communal spaces. One day, Niki was eating her lunch (chicken salad) and Makis sat at the table right next to her to talk to his friend on the phone. After eavesdropping on his entire conversation, Niki asked Makis the obvious question: "You are Greek?!"
What was your most memorable date?
After about a month of dating, we went for a day trip to Cambridge where we spent hours sitting on the grass talking about life's meaning. Makis also ended up hitting his head at a pub and we had to call the ambulance.
What's your favorite activity together?
Making up our own songs.
Who's going to take out the trash?
Definitely Makis!
What's the most memorable trip you have taken together?
CA-1 roadtrip.
