Story
Charlie and Pallavi ran into each other a few times during the 2018 midterm election when he was the Democratic nominee for Attorney General and she was a political strategist. After the election, he saw her at a political event and asked her to grab a drink with him. Unbeknownst to Charlie, a mutual friend told Pallavi that he would probably run for office again and he may want to talk about a campaign manager role. Pallavi updated her resume, put it in a manila folder, and thankfully left it in her car during their first "date".
After an hour of them having two very different conversations, Pallavi figured out she was on a date. But by then, his charm, wit, and encyclopedia of Georgia political knowledge had won her over. He would not find out about this misunderstanding until a month later. By then they were smitten. And Hazel was a big fan of the relationship, and really, that's all that mattered.
