Paul and Liya were both living in the Bay Area during the pandemic, when dating prospects were very slim. They decided to give dating apps a try. Paul sent Liya a rose on Hinge and they began to chat. He proposed a brunch date and Liya agreed, contingent upon her thorough interrogation of Paul on the phone. Paul passed the test and the date was on!
At the last minute, Liya asked to reschedule, but Paul had different plans. He countered with a different location and she agreed. After that fateful change of plans, they met for brunch at Nido's in Oakland, May of 2021 and the rest is history! :)
