When Rachel met Dave... it was a case of third time lucky!
The first time we met was circa 1996 when we were neighbours in Graball Bay. Young and carefree running around the corn fields, little did we know that years later we would meet again when a young David pulled up on his BMX bike on a December night in 2002 and somehow got Rachel's phone number!! After a few months we went our separate ways only to be reunited seven years later on a night out in the local hotspot - Club Drakie! Fast forward a year and we welcomed baby Zoë into our lives! Life was hectic for a few years, but we managed to come out the other side and have some fun along the way!
We both love travelling and have had lots of amazing adventures together over the years but one of the most memorable trips will always be our trip to Germany in 2017. We had planned to go on a trip to Cochem Castle on our first day in Germany and despite inviting everyone to join us nobody accepted (I wonder why!?). Dave was acting a bit funny that morning, but I didn't think too much of it as we set off! When we got to the castle, we made the last tour of the day and were the only English-speaking people on the tour (poor Dave had planned to propose in the castle, but the audience threw him off!). After dinner we went for a walk by the beautiful Mosel River where Dave got down on one knee (in the mud) and I got the biggest surprise of my life!
We can't wait to start the next chapter in our lives and are so happy for you to be part of it!
