When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by 30th October 2022.

Can I bring a date?

If you have a plus one, this will be detailed on your RSVP. As you can imagine we are having to be strict on numbers, so if they are not on there then I am afraid they are not currently included in our guest-list. If you truly feel there has been an oversight here, please let us know.

Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately not. Get that babysitter locked in and have a well deserved night off!

What should I wear?

Use this as an excuse to get dressed up (and as much as we all know I love fancy dress I do not mean in the literal sense)... Wedding formal / cocktail attire all the way!

Hopefully we'll have some glorious Summer sunshine, however we all know what the British weather is like so please dress accordingly.

For those staying off-site please come dressed in your wedding garb. For those staying on site, feel free to either get changed on site (although would aim to get here closer to 12.30pm if so) or dressed ready to go.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The majority of our wedding day will be indoors, but hopefully our reception will be outside on The Terrace.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Absolutely! But please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony itself.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive at the venue from 12.30pm onwards. Ceremony is at 2.30pm so we request for everyone to be seated by 2.15pm.

The Library Bar will be open from 12.30pm until the ceremony for you to enjoy some pre-wedding drinks.

For those who are staying at the venue, check-in is between 12.30pm-1.30pm.

What time is checkout (for those staying on-site at Brympton House)?

If you are staying on-site, please note checkout is at 11am from the bedrooms. Breakfast is served between 9am-10am in The Star Chamber. And following checkout at 11am, brunch will be served in the Salon. "Checkout" from the venue itself is at 1pm.

Is there transportation being provided between our hotels and the venue?

Unfortunately not as there are a number of rooms on-site at the venue.

If you are staying at The Hollies Hotel the night before then there should hopefully be enough cars to car-pool to the venue however. We will help co-ordinate this closer to the time.

We would highly recommend pre-ordering taxis from the venue for after the party (final pick-up time is 2.00am).

If I'm not staying at the venue, will there be somewhere for me to leave our overnight bags?

We appreciate that many hotels may have a later check-in during the afternoon on the Saturday and this conflicts with our wedding schedule. We have therefore secured an area at the venue for anyone staying off-site to leave your bags during the day. Please do ensure nothing is left behind though when you leave after the party!

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking in the car park field, which is on your right as you come down the main drive.

For those that are car-pooling from external hotels, you are absolutely more than welcome to leave your car overnight but please ensure you collect it by 1pm on the Sunday.

Is there anything else I need to know if I am staying on-site at the venue?

As the venue is a Grade I listed house they have quite strict rules in place. Unfortunately one of these is that food and drink are not allowed to be consumed in your bedrooms - please do help us abide by this to avoid us getting charged! There are however, tea and coffee stations / communal areas in each of the buildings.

Also please note that there are no hairdryers provided in the rooms.

What if I have a dietary restriction?

We will be catering for any dietary requirements and will be providing a vegan option for each course at the wedding breakfast. Please ensure to make these selections on your RSVP.

For any further dietary requirements please also flag these in the RSVP so we can ensure you are catered for.

Are you doing anything the night before?

We appreciate that for some of you it will take some time to travel to Somerset. The wedding party will be staying at a hotel (The Hollies) in Martock which is round the corner from the venue so please feel free to join us here on the Friday.

As arrival at the venue is only allowed from 12:30pm, if you are staying at The Hollies, please remember to talk to them to organise late checkout to midday so that you can go straight from your rooms to the wedding venue for the allotted arrival time.

Please note there is absolutely no pressure to attend / stay on the Friday. This is simply if you want to / it's easier for you!

Is there a gifts registry?

We're just looking forward to having you all celebrate with us. We will however be venturing off on a special honeymoon so if you would like to contribute to this that would be oh-so-greatly appreciated!
