Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

How do we RSVP

RSVP details can be found on your invitation. Please follow the links to let us know if you can celebrate with us!

What COVID-19 restrictions will be in place at the wedding?

Hopefully restrictions will be relaxed by the time of the wedding! If any are implemented, we'll follow them.

To help us keep each other safe, we kindly ask that all guests take a lateral flow test before arriving at the venue.

What is the dress code?

Although our wedding will be a fairly relaxed affair, we'd love you to get dressed up for the occasion - dust off your best suit & tie or favourite dress. Hats and fascinators optional and welcomed for those who wish to wear them :o)

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

The majority of the outside areas are gravel and grass so we'd suggest wearing chunky heels or sandals if you aren't wearing flats.

Is there parking on-site?

There's plenty of parking at The Green. For those who are able, we'd kindly ask that you use the spaces a little further away from the main entrance and leave the closer spaces for those who need them.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

We are holding the ceremony and drinks reception outside, weather permitting! :o) The wedding breakfast will take place indoors and the evening reception will be a combination of indoors and outdoors, again weather permitting.

Can we throw confetti?

We won't be using traditional confetti at the wedding and instead bubbles will be provided so it'll still look lovely in photos :o)

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us on social media.
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.

Is there WIFI at the venue?

Yes! Network and password information is available in the accommodation.

What is the layout of the venue?

Here is a handy map of The Green which shows the key areas you'll need for our wedding.

**EVENING GUESTS**

We've included details of nearby hotels, cottages & camp sites in the travel information section, however if you get stuck please let us know.

What time is check-in and check out for guests staying at the venue?

Check out is 11am on Wednesday 22nd June.

How do I make payment for pre-reserved accommodation at the venue?

The venue politely ask that payment is made by Tuesday 26th April.

You'll be advised of your cottage/room details upon arrival and check-in.

Getting to the lake arbour for our ceremony

Weather permitting, we'll be holding our ceremony at the lake arbour, which is in the venue grounds. It's a short walk from the accommodation, through a grassed area or woodland, depending on the route you choose. Please ensure you leave enough time (5ish minutes) to make your way from your accommodation to the lake arbour before the ceremony starts at 1pm. If any of our guests feel unable to make the short walk to the arbour, please let us know.

Is it possible to stay at the venue before or after the wedding?

We have exclusive use of the venue from Monday 20th to Wednesday 22nd June, but sadly it's not possible to stay at the venue outside these dates.

Do you have a gift list?

Our main priority is for you to be there to celebrate with us on our special day, particularly as we realise the majority will be travelling a long way.

We have not put together a gift list, however if you would like to help us with some money towards our honeymoon, we'd be delighted.

Are taxis available to take reception guests back to off-site accommodation?

Yes! and due to the location, we'd strongly advise you pre-book taxis to take you back to your accommodation. We've included taxi details in the travel information section.
