Story
The story begins in Fall of 2014. Sarah and Reece met for the first time while looking for their classes with a mutual friend Freshmen year at ASU. Reece took notice of her right away. They would see each other at the Barrett, the Honors College dorms but didn't speak until a month later when Sarah reached out to study for a Calculus exam they had coming up. Reece was so excited that she reached out and screenshot her message to show his friend. They started talking and bonding over their shared experiences. The following week they long boarded all around ASU and even snuck into the ASU music room so Sarah could play the piano for him. Their connection was strong and they knew they could rely on each other through anything.
Sarah and Reece graduated with their Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science together. They even partnered up to complete their honors thesis by creating a healthy eating app for Freshmen students. After graduation they traveled the world and moved to Seattle to start their new jobs at Amazon. They embraced the Seattle lifestyle of paddle boarding and hiking and eventually adopted Teddy, the Corgi. When the opportunity came, they moved from gloomy Seattle to sunny San Diego!
On August 12, 2021 - Reece surprised Sarah when he proposed to her in Hawaii. He’s took her to a beautiful cove at sunrise and popped the question! It was the happiest moment of their lives and are so excited to celebrate their marriage with family and friends.
