Story
Our story begins on the mean kickball fields of Overtown, Miami, where we were teamed up on the Gray Team in the local Waka Kickball league. While we did play kickball, our team was terrible and the greatest wins that we ever enjoyed were at the post-game gatherings at the world-famous Tobacco Road. We would remain friends for next two years, often hanging out at events, parties and, occasionally, at our favorite bar, Fado Irish Pub. Regardless of the activities of the day, the night would usually end with us eating pizza and playing Jeopardy, which Sherri had been diligently recording since the beginning of time. It wasn’t until late 2014 that things got serious and Joey decided that we should get together—we concurred!
While much has changed since the beginning of our relationship, we have never been more in love and continue to enjoy pizza and Jeopardy regularly. And, of course, Joey still approves!
