Story
We both were out fishing one day but instead of looking for fish we were looking for LOVE. He came across my dating profile on POF and slid into my DM's. We chatted for a while back and forth and he answered every question I had posted. I was impressed but what I loved the most was how he talked about his children, his family, love of cooking, fashion and not being a handy man. (lol) I told him its ok I can fix almost anything and still cook a good meal. From that day forth we talked almost every day and he would send me romantic songs and sweet sayings that were sure to sweep me off my feet. During this time, we still had not met face to face. After a few cancellations we finally decided to meet, and we spent hours in Wingstop lol We talked at least 4hrs about every and anything. I even canceled my plans with my girls to hang out longer with him. I was smitten and couldn't believe I met someone with everything I had prayed for. See we both had been through terrible heartbreaks but all we wanted was a family and our kids to be happy. The kids met and they connected instantly. We all knew we loved being a family. It wasn't always rainbows and butterflies, but we knew with God and each other we could do it. Thanksgiving 2022 was definitely one of the best days of my life. He asked me to be his wife and I responded happily with HELL YES.
