Location
You will find Villa Buonvisi just outside the town of Lucca, embedded in an oasis surrounded by ancient olive groves and a panoramic view of the Tuscan hillside.
The villa boasts activities for all of our guests, from a friendly game of Kubb to a competitive match of doubles tennis. If something more relaxed is preferred you can join Em by the pool for some much-needed vitamin D and an Aperol spritz.
If a dose of cultural immersion is of interest, the 2000-year-old town of Lucca founded by the Romans in 120 BC is only a short drive. With restaurants, shopping, and enough pebble streets to keep every budding photographer busy, this walled city has it all.

We welcome all our family and friends' children at the event.
What will the weather be like?
The weather in Tuscany in September is typically sunny with an average of 26'c in the day, cooling down to 17'c in the evening, so it is recommended that you bring a jacket.
Where should I park?
Whilst there is parking on the grounds, we aim to ensure all guests are within walking distance of the villa.
What should I wear?

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, pending weather.
What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?
Calling all ladies! Do not wear stiletto heels. There are a bunch of grassy areas that you might have to walk in so a tip is to wear chunky heels.
Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app Joy.
However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
