Our Story
Todd and Tiffany both attended UT Arlington for college, but didn't know each other and never met. The only connections they had were a couple mutual friends in Greek life. On the evening of December 14, 2012, they went to a mutual friend's holiday party. As Tiffany walked up to the party, one of their mutual friends Tee Reddy, brought Todd down with him to greet her.
They were quickly paired together for a few activities during the festivities, starting some small talk along the way. While everyone was enjoying beer, Tiffany wasn't drinking anything since she has more of a taste for wine. Todd noticed this and offered to get a bottle of wine for her, which he just so happened to have a bottle of red wine from California out in his truck (so convenient!). He brought it inside to open but quickly discovered Tee didn't own a wine bottle opener. Tee suggested he'd try opening the bottle with a knife. Not a moment later part of the cork came off as he pushed it into the bottle too much, causing the cork to push the built-up pressure out along with nearly half the wine. Wine on the walls - wine on the floor - wine on Tiffany - wine on everyone close by.
Tiffany didn't get her wine that night, but two days after the party Todd connected with her on Facebook and he asked her out for a lunch date. It was then that they realized for the past year they had been working down the street from each other at different companies. Todd gladly offered to come pick her up for lunch, and their love story started to unfold from here. p.s. Todd made up for the wine a few days later when they visited a wine bar in Dallas.
Todd and Tiffany spent a little over a year in a long distance relationship after Todd had to move to Houston for a new job when they were just a month into their relationship. Then in February 2015, Tiffany moved down to Houston from Joshua, TX for a new job. They've been living in Houston ever since and loving it!
