It didn’t happen in a moment,
Nor one singular exchange.
When Tom and Coco became ToCo,
It took a variety. A range.

They first met through Sam Milne,
Tom’s close friend, Coco’s brother.
At the time, a fellow medic.
A friend from Brighton, like the others.

For years they’d have adventures,
Just as friends and nothing more.
Oh, little did they know,
What the future had in store.

When Coco finished uni,
She joined the ToJo crew.
A company Tom co-founded,
And hired everyone he knew.
~
For two years they worked together,
Friends and colleagues they remained.
In amidst the cunning rumours,
That between them, there were flames.
~
At first they shook it off,
The utterings they stopped.
But alas it was then realised,
And the penny finally dropped.
~
Perhaps it was his charm,
His big laugh sealed the deal.
Or a combination of her whit,
And saying just how she feels.
~
Over evenings during supper,
They chatted with each other.
This was a risky business.
The best friend is her brother…

Not something to take lightly,
An almighty fraught decision.
But Tom the man he is,
Would first ask for Sam’s permission.

Then came Blair & Josie's wedding,
It was something of a day!
When Tom & Coco became ToCo,
And they danced the night away!

3 years then quickly passed,
In the blink of just an eye.
Then a monumental moment,
Round the corner it should lie.
~
In the rainiest of weather,
He got down upon one knee.
And asked, Coco will you always,
Go on muddy walks with me?
~
Thus here we are today,
Quite emotional for some.
An exciting thought to ponder,
That the best is yet to come!
