Introduction
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your booking of travel services through Joy Life, Inc. (“Joy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) via the Joy website located at http://withjoy.com and related booking tools (collectively “Joy Travel”).
These Terms, together with your booking confirmation email (the “Booking Confirmation”), apply to all bookings of travel services (each, a “Booking”) made through Joy.
By making a Booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not proceed with a Booking.
We recommend that you save or print a copy of these Terms for your records.
Important: Section 9 (Disputes & Arbitration) contains an arbitration agreement and class action waiver that may affect your legal rights.
Definitions
“Travel Services” means travel services made available through Joy, including accommodations, car rentals, activities, and other travel‑related products.
“Travel Provider” means the third‑party supplier (e.g., hotel, rental car company, activity operator) that provides the Travel Services.
“Supplier Platform” means a third‑party booking or distribution platform used by Joy to source Travel Services, including Expedia Group companies.
“You” means the individual making a Booking, including on behalf of other travelers.
Role of Joy
Joy does not act as an agent, fiduciary, or insurer for you or any Travel Provider, except solely for the limited purpose of transmitting your payment to the Merchant of Record when applicable.
Joy acts as an intermediary that enables you to search for, compare, and book Travel Services offered by Travel Providers. Joy does not own, operate, or control Travel Providers or the Travel Services they provide.
Certain Travel Services offered through Joy are supplied via Expedia Group or its affiliated companies acting as a Supplier Platform. When applicable, your Booking is also subject to Expedia’s terms, which are incorporated by reference and available at:
Travel Provider and Supplier Platform terms govern the Travel Services you book. These Terms govern your access to and use of Joy Travel. If there is a conflict, the Travel Provider/Supplier Platform terms take precedence for the Travel Services.

Eligibility and Booking Conditions
By making a Booking, you represent that:
You are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to contract.
You are booking for personal, non‑commercial use.
All information you provide is accurate and complete.
If booking for others, you have authority to bind them and accept these Terms on their behalf.
Explicit authorization to charge the provided payment method for the full amount, including taxes, fees, and penalties.
You agree not to make fraudulent, speculative, or false Bookings.
Travel Provider Rules and Restrictions
Each Travel Service is subject to the applicable Travel Provider’s rules, policies, and restrictions, including cancellation, refund, no‑show, and change policies (“Rules and Restrictions”).
These Rules and Restrictions are disclosed during the booking process and form part of your contract with the Travel Provider. Failure to comply may result in cancellation without refund.
Pricing, Taxes, and Payment
Pricing
Prices are dynamic and may change until a Booking is confirmed. Obvious pricing errors may result in cancellation or price correction.
Taxes and Fees
Displayed prices may include or exclude taxes, service fees, or recovery charges, depending on the Travel Service and jurisdiction. Travel Providers are generally responsible for remitting applicable taxes, unless otherwise required by law.
Payment Processing
Payment may be processed by:
Joy,
A Supplier Platform (including Expedia Group entities), or
The Travel Provider directly.
The entity processing your payment will be disclosed during checkout. Additional foreign transaction or currency conversion fees imposed by your bank are your responsibility.
Merchant of Record - Depending on the Travel Service, Joy, the Supplier Platform, or the Travel Provider may act as the merchant of record. The merchant of record is responsible for processing your payment and issuing any applicable refunds.
Changes, Cancellations, and Refunds
All changes and cancellations are governed by the applicable Travel Provider’s Rules and Restrictions.
Joy may assist with change or cancellation requests but does not guarantee refunds. Administrative fees may apply where permitted and disclosed in advance.
Refunds, if any, are issued by the party that processed the original payment.
Travel‑Specific Terms
Accommodations
“Pay Now” and “Pay Later” options may be available.
Properties may require a deposit at check‑in.
No‑show policies apply and may result in forfeiture of the full stay.
Car Rentals
A valid credit card and driver’s license are required at pickup.
Additional charges (insurance, fuel, extras) may apply locally.
Activities and Things To Do
Activities may be non‑refundable and non‑transferable.
Liability waivers may be required by operators.
Liability and Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Joy is not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, or negligence of Travel Providers.
Travel Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
Joy is not responsible for personal injury, death, property damage, or other losses arising from Travel Services.
Joy’s total liability, if any, will not exceed the amount paid to Joy for the Booking giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Joy and its affiliates from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of:
Your breach of these Terms,
Your violation of law or third‑party rights, or
Your use of the Joy Travel Site or Travel Services.
Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with Joy’s Privacy Policy, available at http://withjoy.com/privacy . Payment data may also be processed by Supplier Platforms or Travel Providers under their respective privacy policies.
Disputes and Arbitration
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your Booking shall be resolved by binding arbitration, unless eligible for small claims court. Class actions and representative proceedings are waived to the extent permitted by law.
Arbitration will be conducted under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Governing law is the State of Washington, excluding conflict‑of‑law principles.
General
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Joy regarding Travel Services.
Joy may update these Terms at any time by posting revised Terms.
If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
