Remember that thrilling moment when you embarked on this website journey? We had your back from the start, ensuring you had your event date and locked in. But you know what they say about life – it's got a mind of its own and it's like a scenic detour now and then. Plans might decide to dance to their own beat, and guess what? That's okay. You can tweak things as you fancy.
To get started:
Click that hamburger icon in the upper right corner of the admin dashboard.
Select "Event Settings."
You'll find yourself on the General tab, which shows all your basic wedding deets.
This is where you can edit:
Your Joy URL (aka event handle) - It's the final touch of the website's URL and makes your URL unique. AmyPlusDave is the event handle for the URL withjoy.com/amyplusdave.
Let your imagination run wild here. Imagine you're Jim and Pam. How about JimPlusPam, JimAndPam, or JAndP?
No "&" allowed in URLs, but feel free to toss in words like "hitched," "getready," or "savethedate."
Once someone claims a URL, it's off-limits – so channel that inner artist!
Names - Keep it simple – your first names are the stars of the show, dazzling on the Welcome Page and in those delightful emails sent through Joy.
Date - Getting the show on the road needs a date, but if plans shuffle, you can adjust it later.
Location - It's time to tell the world where the party's at – city, state, country – all eyes on your spot!
