Connecting a Domain You Purchased Elsewhere to Your Event Website

You picked out the perfect domain name, bought it, and now you're ready to make it work with your Joy website. Connecting the two happens through your domain provider, not through Joy. The guides below will walk you through it for the most common providers.

Set up forwarding through your domain provider

Log in to the account where you purchased your domain, then follow the guide for your provider:

Note: Joy's support team doesn't have access to your domain provider account, so this step needs to happen on their side. If your provider isn't listed above, search for "[Your Provider Name] domain forwarding" and you'll find their instructions.

Did you buy your domain through Joy?

If you purchased your domain by clicking the link on your Joy Settings page, the setup process is a little different. Follow these step-by-step directions instead.
