Your event website's color palette does more than look good. It sets the mood, reinforces your style, and shapes the first impression your guests get before they ever read a single word. This guide walks you through how to update your colors and explains exactly what each setting controls, so you can make choices with confidence.
How to change your website colors
From your Event Dashboard, hover over Website, click the arrow, and select Design
Click Color.
If you've added an event photo, the Photo Palette automatically pulls tones from your image. It's an easy starting point for a cohesive look.
Click the Color Swatch next to the section you want to update (for example, Page Background, Page Text, or Buttons & Links).
Choose a color from the Photo Palette, drag the color picker to adjust hues, or type a hex code directly into the field
Check the preview on the right to see your updates in real time.
What each color controls
The color options available to you depend on which website layout you're using. If you're not sure which layout you have, go to your Design page, click Layout, and check which option is selected. Then find your layout below.
Single Scroll Layout
Background Behind Art changes the background color behind your header artwork. Not all art options support a background color.
Text on Art updates the color of any text layered over the selected artwork.
Page Background sets the background color for the main content area on the right panel.
Page Text controls the color of paragraph and body text throughout the page.
Buttons & Links changes the accent color for call-to-action buttons like the RSVP and hyperlinks.
Classic Navigation and Simple Scroll
Background Behind Art updates the area behind your header artwork, if you're using one.
Page Background sets the background for each page’s content area.
Page Text adjusts paragraph and body text.
Buttons & Links changes the color of all interactive buttons and links.
Hit Save and you're all set.
Pro tips for a clean, readable palette
Keep Page Text in strong contrast with Page Background so your content is easy to read. For Buttons & Links, accent tones from the Photo Palette tend to work well since they complement your existing design without clashing. If something looks off, adjust the slider in the color picker and watch the preview update in real time before committing.
