Q & A

For all our friends and family who have lots of questions, please check out our Q & A first!

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by June 25th - in order to ensure the proper number of cottages are reserved for the appropriate number of nights, or so that we can arrange additional glamping to be set up. It will be important for us (and Owlpen!) to know well in advance. We will be covering a deposit for reservation purposes, and all of our guests will be contacted at a later date with more information about how to pay.

I want to stay at Owlpen - what are my options?

We would love you to stay!

The options for staying at Owlpen include:
- Staying an extended 4 nights (Monday - Friday)
- Staying for the wedding - which is 2 nights (Tuesday - Thursday)

- Spaces are in one of nine beautiful cottages, sleeping 38 people.
This will mean sharing as the cottages sleep between 2-8 people each. If you have need for a cottage and have specific requirements beyond the RSVP questions, please contact Gina.

- A glamping village can be set up.
Electric showers and toilets would be made available if more than 10 guests planned to camp. Minimum 2 nights - could also potentially be extended to 4.

I opted to stay, now how can I pay?

We are so thrilled you have chosen to stay with us for an extended holiday!

We will be covering a deposit for reservation purposes, and all of our guests will be contacted at a later date with more information about how to pay.

Whom should I call with questions?

Please email one of our amazing maids of honour, Gina on Gina_ab@hotmail.co.uk

Can I bring a date?

Please check your invite for your +1!

Are dogs welcome?

They are, in fact, encourged! Please bring your furry family members, just of course be mindful about their behaviour and cleaning up after them on site.

Are kids welcome?

For our guests that have little ones, we know you have little ones and we love them and you. We want you to do whatever feels comfortable, and want to include your whole family in as much of the day as possible.

What will the weather be like?

July in the Cotswolds should be beautiful, warm, and sunny! But of course this is England. It may rain. Be prepared for either extreme, and sometimes both at once!

Where should I park?

There is plenty of free parking on site at Owlpen, by individual cottages as well as a large lot directly by the pole barn.

Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Yes, there should be no trouble accessing the ceremony and reception.

What should I wear?

We would love for you to feel colourful, light, fashionable and fun! We'd love to see everyone dressed up and feeling their best, while bringing brightness and joy to the occasion.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Luckily Owlpen caters for all options should the weather not be beautiful and sunny as we hope: assuming good weather, the outdoors is preferrable! Make sure you have the essentials for a day outdoors, like sunscreen!

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Wear whatever you want to dance the night away in. Be aware that should you choose to run into the grassy fields for some games, then you may find heels need to come off, but who doesn't love barefeet in luscious grass?

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them with us! But of course, it's important to put down the phones and enjoy the moment as well.

Is there a gifts registry?

Otis and I would love for you to simply come and enjoy our day. However, if you feel you would like to gift us anything, you may choose to contribute to our honey moon. Collection box will be available on the day.
