Cash Funds FAQ

Updated today

What currency will my cash fund use?

When you create a cash fund, your account is set up with a single currency based on your country. This is the currency your fund will use for everything.

That means:
- All contributions from guests are collected in this currency
- Any processing fees are applied in this currency
- Your payouts are sent to your bank account in this currency

For example:
- U.S. accounts use USD
- Canadian accounts use CAD
- U.K. accounts use GBP
- European accounts use EUR

Why is everything in one currency?

We keep everything in a single currency to make things simple and avoid unexpected conversion fees. This way, the amount your guests contribute is the same currency you receive in your payout.

Can I change my currency?

Your currency is tied to your account’s country and can’t be changed after setup.

If you need to use a different currency, you may need to create a new account based in that region. Our support team can help.

Can my guests pay in a different currency?

Guests will see prices for cash funds and external items in the currency you choose for your cash funds. This ensures your fund will always receive contributions in your account’s currency.
