Your guest list isn't one big group. It's a mix of people with different needs, different logistics, and sometimes different languages. You might have hotel information that only matters to people flying in. Or you might want to build pages in different languages so each guest can read your site in their native language. Guest Page Visibility lets you assign any page on your site to specific guests or groups, so it reaches the people it's meant for and doesn't distract everyone else.
Note: Guest Page Visibility works by matching guests against your guest list by name. Make sure your guests are added to your guest list before getting started. If you want to assign pages by group, set up guest tags first. See All About Guest Tags for how.
Setting Page Visibility for Specific Guests
From your Event Dashboard, hover over Website, click the arrow, and select Manage Pages.
Click the visibility button next to the page you want to update.
In the Visibility dropdown select Specific Guests.
Choose Tags
Tags let you show the page to an entire group at once: the wedding party, out of town guests, family, the Spanish speakers, or any group you've already created. This is the most efficient option if the page applies to a whole group of guests.
Click the Choose tags dropdown.
In the dropdown, select the tags for the group(s) who should see this page.
Choose Guests
Use this field to add individual guests who should see this page but aren't covered by a tag.
Click the Choose guests dropdown.
Select the names from your guest list.
Click Save.
Tip: You can use tags, individual guests, or both together on the same page.
What Your Guests Will See
When a guest visits your welcome page, they'll see an Unlock Guest Details button. Clicking it opens a prompt where they enter their first and last name. Joy matches their name against your guest list and shows them only the pages they have access to.
Once their name is matched, they'll see a confirmation screen and can explore the site with their pages visible.
Previewing a Page as a Guest
To see what a specific guest would see, open a private or incognito browser window, navigate to your event site, and click Unlock Guest Details. Enter a guest's name to see their personalized view.
