Description
Just north of the Golden Gate Bridge is a forest of amazing Redwood Trees. It is called Armstrong Woods. Other companies go there with busloads of tourists, so Best Bay Area Tours doesnt. They go to Armstrong Woods, a lesser-known ancient forest with the tallest trees on the planet. At Armstrong, visitors can enjoy the silence of the forest with trees that have been around since the Middle Ages.
The day continues to boutique wineries in the Russian River of Sonoma County. Participants will be provided three very different experiences from a family-owned vineyard to a tasting room that was started by a group of friends forty years ago, and on to a grand tasting room located in the center of rolling fields of vines.
Note: The location of the tour within the Redwoods is subject to change depending on forest closures. Best Bay Area Tours will communicate those potential changes after booking.
