The Totem Compact Waste Separation & Recycling Bin takes a smart, stacked approach to separating trash. Instead of a traditional side by side setup, the innovators at Joseph Joseph have designed two 5-gallon compartments arranged vertically, which saves you space while keeping it easy to fill and empty. Each compartment has an inner removable bucket with breather vents. Smells are kept at bay thanks to the main lid’s ventilated odor filter. Includes a removable .8-gallon food waste caddy that you can store inside either compartment or on top.

Stacked Separation
Say goodbye to separate trash and recycling bins. This one combines them but in an innovative, stacked design. Each compartment as an inner, removable bucket which makes bag changes easy. There are integrated bag hooks and you can use a single standard garbage bag or two smaller ones giving you even more options for waste separation.

Bonus Food Caddy
This awesome little addition is a big helper. Keep it on your kitchen countertop during food prep and use it to store scraps and peels until you’re ready to toss them. You can store it inside either compartment or keep it on top of the unit.

Measuring up
Each compartment has a 5-gallon capacity and the removable food caddy has a .8-gallon capacity. The unit’s overall measurements when stacked are 14.5"D x 12"W x 30"H.
