Choose Smoothie, Hot Soup, or Frozen Dessert and your A2500 Ascent Series Blender will automatically adjust to the container size you’ve selected, process your recipes, and stop when complete.
Digital Timer
The built-in timer takes the guesswork out of blending recipes manually, helping you get the desired texture every time. The timer will count up to display how long your A2500 Ascent Series Blender has been running, so you won’t lose track of time.
10 Speeds Plus Pulse
With more options than just “on” and “off,” you’ll be able to control the speed of your Vitamix. The variable speed control, featuring 10 settings, allows you to mix a little bit (think chunky salsas) or a lot (think smooth purees and creamy soups). If you want a high-speed burst of power, hit the Pulse button once or as many times as you’d like.
Compatible with Self-Detect Containers
Do more with your blender. It’s compatible with any of Vitamix’s line of self-detect containers (sold separately). Turn it into a customized blending system by adding a blending cup that lets you blend and take single-servings of smoothies to go, a blending bowl for chopping ingredients for a recipe, and more.
Easy Maintenance
After using your Vitamix A2500 Ascent Series Blender, you can rinse out the pitcher, add warm water and a drop of dish soap, place it back on the motor base, put the lid on, and blend at the highest speed for 30 to 60 seconds to clean it. The pitcher is also dishwasher safe. Wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth.
