Our Story
Dorian, Kaiwalya, and I started Joy to make wedding planning more intuitive, thoughtful, and personal.
It all began when Dorian’s sister Amy was planning her wedding and we saw how hard it was for her to find a wedding website that offered the personal touch and attention to detail she wanted. We created a custom website just for her, and when her friends and wedding guests started asking us to build sites for them too, we realised we were onto something.
After work, we’d meet up and use our free time to design a website anyone could personalise to feel like it was made just for them. In 2016, we officially founded Joy.
We began with stunning wedding websites, then built smart tools to make wedding planning easier, help couples stay organised, and create a smooth experience for both couples and their guests.
We’re always improving and adding new features, so you’ll have an even smarter way to plan your big day.
