The Best Rooftop Wedding Venues in Los Angeles

LA has its fair share of gorgeous beach wedding venues — not to mention wineries, ranches, and glamorous estates. But for some of us, there’s nothing like a city wedding. Especially one with a view. For those dreaming of a stylish wedding overlooking the golden skyline, we’ve gathered up the best rooftop wedding venues in Los Angeles.

Wilshire Loft

For a truly urban wedding setting, try Wilshire Loft. Wilshire Loft is known for their luxury style and towering city views. What’s more, they have everything you need to stage your dream wedding, from tables and linens, to full sound and lighting systems.

Capacity: 190

Typical cost: Base cost $7,800 – $9,600

Bonus: Don’t have time for a visit? Take a virtual walk-through.

The Unique Space

It’s right there in the name: this place is like nowhere else. Doubling as a shared workspace, The Unique Space is filled with lively, playful decor and one-of-a-kind spaces. Specifically, the photogenic rooftop patio, large playful murals, and giant historic warehouse all come together to create the setting for an unforgettable wedding.

Capacity: 250

Typical cost: $6,200 – $7,400 rental fee

Bonus: Ever thought of designing your own invitations? If so, then keep an eye out for calligraphy workshops, also hosted at The Unique Space.

The Oviatt Penthouse

Channel Old Hollywood and declare your love atop the Oviatt Building, a historic highrise in Downtown LA. Designed in the 1920’s by the Los Angeles architectural firm Walker & Eisen, the masterpiece of a building will positively imbue your wedding with Art Deco glamour. And, in addition to the decor and the views, reviewers rave about the Oviatt’s event coordination team and suggested vendors.

Capacity: 120

Typical cost: $12,000 – $22,000

Bonus: The exterior of the building masqueraded as the dark and grisly Hotel Cortez in American Horror Story: Hotel. But don’t worry, ghosts give great wedding presents.

Perch

Set your event apart with the details, for example, Perch’s antique french-inspired furniture, outdoor fireplaces, and gorgeous landscaping. Not to mention, the spectacular skyline view of Downtown LA is sure to stun.

Capacity: 80 for rooftop, 280 for full venue

Typical cost: Prices vary widely based on event. Contact Perch for a quote.

Bonus: Planning an outdoor wedding in the winter? No worries, because Perch’s rooftop comes prepared for the evening chill. Specifically, they provide heaters and fire pits to keep your guests comfortable all throughout the reception.

440 Seaton

Are you and bae too popular for your own good? Then 440 Seaton has you fully covered. In fact, they’ve got you covered up to 600 guests — seated! Since it was originally an indoor lumberyard, 440 Seaton’s giant warehouse is ideal for a big fat wedding (Greek or not). Additionally, the warehouse is practically a blank canvas, so you can shape it to your vision.

Capacity: 600 seated

Typical cost: $20,000
