How did the two of you meet?

How long have you been together?
We have been together a year and a half.
Who proposed?
The decision to marry was quite mutual, but Hannah insisted that Owen do the whole “ring, knee, proposal thing.”
Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We took an overnight trip to Laguna Beach – a little beach town in SoCal – it was the week before Thanksgiving the weather was sunny but brisk. We spent the day enjoying the town and as the sun was setting Owen suggested a walk along the bluff side park. We walked quietly hand in hand for a bit until Owen couldn’t wait any longer and guided us to an overlook, he stopped abruptly and took Hannah in his arms.
Joy to us is dancing for no reason and kisses just because.
He pronounced his love for her. Then he got down on one knee, quoted some Game of Thrones and asked Hannah to marry him. “Be with me from this day, until my Last Day!” “Yes, of course!” she said unconcerned for anything but a kiss and then he insisted she see the ring. It was beautiful! We enjoyed the sunset from some tide pools and then had a yummy dinner in town.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
So far the most rewarding thing about planning the wedding has been simply tallying up the seemingly countless people in our lives we are blessed to have love us.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
When you think about pressures of planning a wedding it’s all GOOD! Any stress or frustration is relative, positive and exciting and we are blessed and lucky to be celebrating such a magical moment with our friends and family. These are all good amazing wonderful things and we continue to remind ourselves that the wedding is the kick-off celebration for the marriage to come!
