Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We were on a camping road trip with his family to Glacier National Park, a place that we both really wanted to visit again since it was a place we had gone to with our separate families about 10 years prior. We took a whole day and hiked eight miles up a mountain, to one of the last glaciers, while taking a break at the top, looking out on a beautiful glacial lake, Andrew pulled a ring out of his backpack and asked me to continue this adventure with him. He asked if I would marry him! I said, “Absolutely!”
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
So far, my favorite part has been how much Andrew has been involved with the planning! Everything is very much “us” so it’s been fun to plan and bond together over our special day!

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I haven’t had too much stress with all the plans, but Andrew and I have really been able to lean on each other to help keep each other sane.

In the end, I get to marry my best friend and laugh with him for the rest of my life. That’s what pure joy is!
