We went out to the lake for a fun weekend with friends. Later that evening, he suggested we go for a walk so he could show me where he has been trying to catch fish, but with no luck. We got to the lakeside and talked for a bit. He started talking about when we met and how he knew I was the one. Next thing I knew, he was down on one knee with a ring asking me to marry him. I was so surprised because I didn’t see it coming. I said, “Yes!” to my best friend.
