Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Jared took me out to breakfast. Afterward, we went to one of our favorite date locations we often would visit when he came to Michigan, the Detroit Institute of Arts. We were strolling through the museum, looking at familiar exhibits when he suggested we visit the Catholic arts section in the museum. As we were walking to the exhibit, I informed him I was not a fan of the Catholic art due to the fact that they had often used old men as models for the baby Jesus’ in the paintings. He laughed this off and told me that he liked the time period because of the architecture. As we walked toward a gorgeous arch with glass stained windows, he suggested we take a picture. There, an employee of the museum offered to take our photo. As we posed, he suddenly went down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
