Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
On the 12th of October, 2018, Ryan took me out for dinner. Nothing special happened and he spent the night complaining about needing to go home with a sore stomach. He wouldn’t let me buy sweets on the way home because he was in such a rush to leave. Once we arrived home, I entered the house through the garage and walked into candles in the shape of a heart, rose petals covering the floor, balloons reading ‘marry me’ and a ring sitting in the middle of it all. He dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. I laughed uncontrollably and said. “What the F*#@”. I eventually said, “Yes!”
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Discussing our future beyond the wedding like travel, getting drunk on wine, dodging the question ‘when are you having a baby? Which we will answer, “In a billion years, we are babies!”
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We laugh a lot at our own and at each other’s expense. It helps that we don’t take life seriously.. at all.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?

What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Throw everything on the site, leave no stone unturned. Joy prevents you from having to have 500 phone calls with relatives over wedding details!
