Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Justin and I took a vacation to France and Spain in April. He had been telling me (as well as my friends and family) for so long that he didn’t want to propose on a trip due to the high risk of traveling with a ring. We started off the trip in Paris and decided that day two would be the day we explore Versailles. We arrived at Versailles and made our way through the Palace and then out to the Grounds. We spent time taking photos and enjoying the scenery, but eventually, Justin suggested we make our way to the Petit Trianon. We arrived there and walked along the path when a gazebo area appeared and I asked if we could check it out. As we were walking across the wooden bridge to the gazebo, Justin started telling me that he has known how special I was since our first date, that he loves me so much and that he knew he wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. At this point, he explained that he had taken me to Le Temple de L’Amour (The Temple of Love) in Versailles, he got down on one knee on the steps of the temple and asked me to marry him. I, of course, said, “Yes!” We sat on the steps of the temple discussing all of the behind-the-scenes of his plans. It was the most romantic day of my life!

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
So far, my favorite experience was selecting our reception venue! Having such a big piece in place, feels great.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Justin, my friends, and my mom have all been so patient with me throughout the process. They are definitely the root cause of me not freaking out!

Our wedding day is like a time capsule when Justin and I will get to celebrate our love for each other amongst our closest friends and family, which is incredible. The joy that our love for each other brings to our lives and to those around us will last forever, long after the wedding takes place.
