Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We were traveling South America. We did Inca trail in Peru, Santiago in Chile, wine tasting in Mendoza, and we were at the final stop the legendary falls in Iguazu that borders Argentina and Brazil. We had a full day of hiking around the falls and getting sprayed by the mist. In the afternoon at one of the viewing areas, he started to get down on one knee. I didn’t realize what was happening (I thought he was doing a silly pose for a picture) so I started to lunge as well! It was only when he saw holding a ring, looking up at me, that I realized he was proposing. I was completely thrown off guard!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Combing of two cultures. Jonny is from Ireland and my heritage is from India. We are doing a fusion Indian/ Irish wedding!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Remember that the most exciting part is the marriage, not the wedding!
