Give us the details! When? Where? How?
He planned a weekend getaway to San Francisco. The whole trip was a surprise we went to Pier 39, took the ferry to Alcatraz, walked through the Ferry House, saw the lights and Christmas decorations at Union Square (there were Christmas trees on every corner!) on Saturday night we went to Epic Steak right on the water with a beautiful view of the bay bridge. After dinner we headed over to the Palace of Fine Arts that was glowing with lights now that the sun had set. We walked around the pond and it was just us two and it was perfect.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
I love event planning so talking with vendors, discussing decorations, and booking entertainment has been amazing.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Working out, bubble baths, and ask for help you don’t have to do it all yourself! It can definitely be overwhelming and although working out has really helped me de-stress, I feel like bubble baths are going to become a more frequent occurrence over the coming months.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
I really liked the URL withjoy, some wedding websites have really long names that create super long URLs. It’s easy to use and customize to include any and all details of your day.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
The chat feature is great, if you have a question shoot it over in the chat box and get a quick answer. Makes it very easy to keep working on your site without spending extra time trying to find an answer.
