The Commons 1854

The Commons 1854 is a little boutique wedding venue that is just filled to the brim with historical charm. The banquet hall has been completely restored and updated with modern amenities, but still maintains its 19th century architecture and details. The Commons 1854 also offers the use of their professionally licensed bridal consultants to help you plan and execute every little detail on your wedding day perfectly. The venue has three areas for your use, which will allow for your guests to move from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception effortlessly.

The Carriage House at Lynch Park

The Carriage House at Lynch Park was originally part of the grand estate of the Robert and Maria Antoinette Evans in the late 1800s and also often housed President Taft during the Summers. Offering stunning views of the Atlantic ocean while surrounding you with beautifully manicured gardens full of lush greenery and gorgeous florals. The Carriage House itself has been very well maintained and updated with a few modern amenities such as new lighting, restrooms, a staging area for caterers, and wheelchair accessibility.

The Villa at Ridder Country Club

Owned and run by the Saphire family, The Villa at Ridder Country Club is a a particularly stunning wedding venue. Located in East Bridgewater, this venue offers stunning picturesque views while getting you out of the city, giving you and your guests a breath of fresh air. Two indoor venue options are available: the Grand Ballroom which offers a contemporary-chic feel, and the Madera Ballroom which offers more of a rustic-elegant feel. If you’re all about having an outdoor wedding, an outdoor tent is available for use on the grounds, giving your ceremony and reception a romantic garden feel. Also available for use is their stunning bridal suite for you and your besties to get ready in before the ceremony.

Now while this venue might not be the most traditional choice, it will be one of the more memorable ones! Why not get married on a boat and use Boston Harbor Cruises? You and your guests will be able to enjoy some of the most magnificent views of the Boston skyline and the deep blue Atlantic ocean. You might even be one of the lucky ones who gets to see a whale! Fruitlands Museum

This venue certainly has a colorful past, but don’t let that stop you from choosing it! Fruitlands Museum was founded in 1914 and was named after an experimental utopian community. It has since been turned into multiple museums and a wedding venue. Fruitlands Museum has teamed up with Fireside Catering and Event planning to help you plan the perfect wedding! Artisanal food that was grown on their own Gibbet Hill Farm. Their executive chef will design custom menus full of amazing food that will leave your guests speechless and wanting more. Venue Rental includes access to the Prospect House and the adjacent grounds for up to 5 hours.

The Bostonian

Located in the heart of downtown Boston across from Faneuil Hall, The Bostonian offers some pretty amazing views of Boston’s skyline. Originally built in 1897, The Bostonian is thought to be one of Boston’s oldest hotels and is still full of historical charm. And since it’s a hotel, accommodations will be available for both you and your guests! Although this venue is an older one, it offers couple’s a more contemporary atmosphere for their wedding. Available with your venue rental is access to the bridal suite, set up and tear down, wedding planning, linens, dishes, flatware and more!

Capacity: 10-160 guests

Typical Cost: Starting at $500 during off-peak season

Bonus: Bar services are also available! Starting at $50 per person
