The 11 Best Places to Propose in Las Vegas

While known for hosting weddings, many may forget that Las Vegas, Nevada is also filled with a dynamic assortment of locations to propose. There are so many, in fact, that it can be overwhelming to settle on where to ask this oh-so-important question — not to mention upcoming costs and question marks that only compound that overwhelming feeling. To help you plan for this life-changing moment so that it goes as smoothly as possible, we’ve scoured the 11 best places to propose in Las Vegas. Cheers to this exciting endeavor!

1. Bellagio Fountains on the Las Vegas Strip

Combining a water show that rivals the most spectacular firework display and music that stirs up all the feels, the Bellagio Fountains on the Las Vegas Strip creates an ambiance ripe for the perfect proposal.

While your honey is captivated by the show, assume the proposal position and pull out that ring. Then, when the water mellows and they turn around, they’ll be met with one of the most exciting visuals ever: you. The fountain show is about 10 minutes long, so you can get into position around the nine-minute mark.

As for one of the best places to view the show? Look no further than an alcove on the sidewalk that borders the Bellagio. To get a prime spot, claim your space at the end of a show.

Note that on Monday – Friday, the water starts spouting every 30 minutes from 3 pm – 8 pm and then every 15 minutes from 8 pm – 12 am. On Sundays, the show commences at 11 am, starting up every 30 minutes until 7 pm and then every 15 minutes until midnight. The show is most dramatic after dark.

2. Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

Do you have to travel to Paris to create that iconic, hopelessly romantic top-of-the-Eiffel-tower moment? Not at all. In fact, you can craft that magic right on the Las Vegas Strip. After dark, whisk your special someone to the top of the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck, a paired down replica of the famous Parisian tower, and pop the question after you’ve taken in the tapestry of lights.

You can also choose to save the big moment for a meal at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant to facilitate a brunch, lunch, or dinner proposal. This eatery sits 110 feet above the Las Vegas Strip and provides intimate tables and views of the Bellagio fountains. For $600, the proposal packages include a window table, champagne toast, custom menu, wine pairing, and half-a-dozen long-stem roses.

3. Hot-Air Balloon Ride Over Red Rock Canyon

Through the tour company Viator, you can book a one-hour ride that includes champagne breakfast with light hors d’oeuvres and unobstructed views of the Las Vegas Strip, Red Rock Canyon, and surrounding mountains.
