Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Evan proposed while we were spending a day at the San Diego Zoo while riding in the sky gondola over the park. He was able to successfully surprise me ( I guessed how he would propose months earlier and was right!) He also had my parents at the zoo right after he proposed.

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
We have really been enjoying how to make our wedding unique to us. Like serving tacos as the main dish, and using a family recipe for our wedding cake.

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Having priorities has helped us. We knew we wanted a certain location and time of year, so that made it easier to then get the vendors after that.

What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
I like being able to provide my guests with all kinds of information in one place, with an aesthetically pleasing layout!
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Definitely, link your registry websites! Also, take the time to link restaurants in your “things-to-do” lists for guests to know which ones you are talking about and they can easily do their own investigating.
