Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
In 2017, I went on a girls trip to Napa Valley as a single woman and bought a bottle of wine that I told my friends I would never open until I was engaged. Soon after, I met Taylor and our love story began. On May 19,2019 I sat in a beautiful Los Angelos restaurant watching the skyline as I waited on Taylor to come back from the bathroom. He approached me nervously and told me our server was bringing out some wine. I begged him not to get the wine because everything was already so expensive and I was so content with how beautiful the evening was! Taylor insisted it was ok and that the server was already in route. I looked to my right and I saw the bottle I bought in 2017 in Napa Valley being brought to our table. I looked at Taylor and all I remember him saying is, “You said you didn’t want to be engaged without this bottle of wine.” And he proceeded to get on one knee as I began to ball my eyes out.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Being with Taylor and talking about our special day while combining ideas on how to make it perfect! That’s been my favorite part of this process.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
Although it hasn’t been very long, I keep telling myself the focus is going down the aisle with my best friend.
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
