Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We were in South Carolina preparing to get some sleep before driving the 14-hours to my parents’ house for Christmas. He asked me to bring him a soda from the mini-fridge, so I did. He told me it wasn’t cold enough and asked me to bring him some ice from the fridge, also. At this point, we’re arguing as I told him we don’t have ice in the mini-fridge! He convinced me there was and I needed to look again. I went to look and there was “ice” in the fridge – my ring!
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Seeing every small detail that felt so scrambled in the beginning, now starting to come together.

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
We take breaks from discussing the wedding and try not to let it dominate our conversations.

Although we’re planning this wonderful day to celebrate joining our lives together, we plan to approach every day after that with joy, patience, and love.
