How did the two of you meet?
Andrew was house sitting for his dad while Katie was staying at her Aunt Deb’s next door. Aunt Deb went out of town for a few days and Andrew offered Katie his number in case anything should come up. The first time they hung out, Andrew made Katie some poached eggs.
Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
I knew what I wanted. I had to fight the instinct to “wait for the man” to ask me. A good girlfriend of mine had recently asked her partner to marry her, and I was inspired. I bought a ring and had it engraved to say, “I love you, neighbor boy”. I asked him while cuddled in bed!
