Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
After dinner one night in mid-July, we went to Saybrook Point to walk at the causeway where we had our first date. Halfway down the causeway he just stopped and got down one knee. I asked, “Are you serious?” He snapped the ring box closed and said, “Nope!” but was just joking with me cause of my disbelief.
What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Not sure yet! I have seven months of planning ahead of me and I feel like I’ll know my favorite experience when I experience it!
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I stay sane because… I am sane! Becoming “insane” would be silly and it’s NOT IN THE SCHEDULE! Yes, planning a wedding is a lot of work, but so is anything that is worth doing. Who said it would be easy?
What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
The organization of the “edit” page for updating and adding more information!
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Spend time using Joy. It’s very self-explanatory and can be whatever you decide to put into it.
At Joy we believe that even though a wedding lasts a day, joy lasts forever. What does that mean to you?
When all of the planning is over and you are growing old together, the joy you felt on your special day is enough to last forever.
