How did you get into wedding planning?
I have a degree in retail floriculture. So, it was an easy transition to move into the wedding planning side! Now as professional bridal consultants, we are a family business with my daughters and nieces, combined to bring fun and creative energy to every event. We are located in Arizona but plan numerous events in other states, cities, and countries!
What are the three things every wedding and event planner must carry on them at all times?
Wet Ones, a sewing kit, and safety pins!
What’s been your favorite experience as a wedding planner?
I love having my couples tell me that their wedding day was the best day of their life.
What do you love most about planning weddings?
Getting to know, and staying friends with, the most amazing couples!
Where is the most interesting place you’ve planned a wedding?
The Dutch Mansion in upstate New York.
What is your biggest wedding day challenge?
How do you manage the stress of wedding planning?
If everything is organized and stays on schedule, there typically is very little stress. Obviously, weather glitches can add to some last minute hecticness!
What piece of advice would you give brides and grooms to ensure they find a wedding planner who will ensure their big day goes off without a hitch?
Make sure you click with your wedding planner, personality wise. You should feel confident in their organizational skills and design sense!
