What she wants her clients to know: “ I value capturing the in-between moments: the look of pride on your father’s face as he hugs you before giving you away, a group of your friends raising glasses of whiskey in honor of you, the look of sheer glee and excitement you get when you look at yourself in the mirror, dressed and ready to walk down the aisle. Those are the moments that I find important.”

Real, raw, and emotional.

Brittney creates emotional moments with a touch of mood lighting and a lot of love.

Her philosophy: “I’m for the adventurous bride and groom unafraid to get a little dirty — to climb a mountain or dance in the desert — to embrace true and delirious love. I specialize in outdoor, wild weddings and engagements + urban, industrial ceremonies. My editing style is on the dark and moody side.”

Her favorite wedding trends: “Lately I’m really digging eclectic bride and groom accessories! Hats, jewel capes, wearable florals, and customized matching bride and groom jackets.”

Melissa Fritzsche Photography

Light, airy, and fresh.

Melissa Fritzsche Photography strives to capture genuine emotion and connections with each of her couples.

Her philosophy: “I tend to take more of a lifestyle approach versus completely posed shots because I believe this allows me the ability to capture the natural interaction and love that exists between a couple, and to me, that is when I am able to capture those dreamy, romantic, and magical moments.”

What she wants her clients to know: “ I believe what makes my photography unique is my heart. I truly treat my clients like my family. I try to serve them in the best way I know how. I am so excited for them and want to do all that I can to ensure their day is perfect! Shooting the details is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day! I appreciate the thought and planning couples take when incorporating details- whether that is a family heirloom, sweet love notes, gifts for their family/ friends, playful socks, or gorgeous ring. I love the chance it gives me to be creative and capture those details in a way that the couple has envisioned and can remember always.”

Genuine, focused, and true.

His philosophy: “I choose to photograph you and your fiancé in a way that lets those cute, characteristic laughs and smiles emerge naturally, so your session evolves into little emotive moments that are far more real than anything staged. I think that my favorite would be photographing in rural Australia a few hours outside of Sydney. The bride chose to have her wedding at her family ranch and we did a little engagement session a few days before, exploring the 2000+ acres of land that really captured her spirit and childhood. Finding places that genuinely connect with the bride and groom are so much fun and the most rewarding!”

What he wants his clients to know: “Creating a little adventure, that’s how I approach your photos. Going up into the mountains, or finding a cool meadow or dried up lake, it’s all about doing the things you love in a space that cultivates an experience. Rather than project my own personality and preferences, I always encourage you to pick a spot that you would go to if you had a Saturday alone together. That’s how my approach is unique. When you feel at ease and comfortable that’s when you allow yourself to be your real self. That’s when you get photos back that look as amazing as they feel. My favorite wedding trend is that Brides and Grooms are starting to find their own version of what a wedding should look like. From putting up bbq style backyard games during the cocktail hour to having drinks served before guests are seated for the ceremony, Brides today are making their own events unique and special for them. They’re customizing their experience and steering clear of the ‘expected,’ venturing into what makes you happy, has created some of the MOST fun weddings I’ve ever been to. Also, taco bars.”
