How did you get into Modern Map Art? What drove your passion to start your business?
My passion for travel. I originally started making street maps of the places that I had been all over the world. We started to notice people giving them as gifts to their friends and family, and we realized the connections people had to specific times and places. Because of that, we started creating our star maps to allow people to give a map gift specific to not just a place, but also a specific date and time.

What occasions do you make art for?
Any occasion! Weddings, engagements, births of children, etc.
What is the most unique place you have made a map for?
We’ve made them all over the world. The smallest city was probably Cortez, CO.
What makes Modern Map Art a unique gift?
Our art connects people to a special place in their lives and is specific to their exact location, at an exact moment in time.
Specifically, why do you like to work with milestones such as engagements and weddings?
They’re important events that people have a deep connection and memory towards.
