How did the two of you meet?
We first met at a mutual friends place, where creative expression via drawings and pictures were procured!
How long have you been together?
We will have been officially dating for 5 years on Sept. 6th.

Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
Last summer(2016) the month and date is a little blurry due to settling into our new home, the proposal was in our newly-moved-in apartment. I was laying on our couch; shirt inside out, messy bun, naked face, laptop on hand, wore out from unpacking and cleaning. I had just read one of those silly “ask your S.O. these questions without prompting them,” I caved in and asked, deciding to go with it.
To us, joy means living this life full of laughter, inside jokes, emotion, adventure, and kisses with your best friend.
After silly answers and laughter was exchanged, he went straight to the floor next to me and popped the question. I was in shock and immediately said, “Shut your mouth” embraced him and said yes! I was absolutely caught off guard, which made the moment that much sweeter.

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?
Most certainly the meetings with our planners. It’s always full of gasps, laughter, throwing out different decor ideas, and running with it. We’re super excited to see what will be of our wedding day.
How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?
I’ve hired the baddest, raddest, and creative chicks around!

What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?
I love how easy it is to make the website. Everything is laid out for you so all you have to do is insert information where needed. Not to mention it’s not super cheesy like some websites can be.
What piece of advice would you give couples to ensure that they use Joy to its fullest potential?
Make sure you let your guests know about it and plug your link in everywhere! We want the guests to have easy access too!
