Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?
We drove out to our favorite breakfast spot outside of Nashville called Country Boy, in Leiper’s Fork, TN. I have always wanted a Jeep Wagoner (my mom drove one when I was in elementary school) and I saw a cool old Jeep drive by while we were having breakfast. I said, “I really wish I had one of those.” Mike smiled and said, “Maybe someday!” After breakfast, we walked back to our car and I noticed the cool Jeep was parked next to us. Mike was grinning ear to ear, “Want to take a ride in your new Jeep?” I freaked! When we got into the car, Mike asked me to look in the glove compartment and sitting in it was a box with my grandmother’s ring. As if that wasn’t enough, my best friend and sister both ran up to surprise me with champagne and tears of joy! We drove around in the Jeep all day drinking champagne and laughing. It was quite literally the best day ever.
