Joy Proposal Story: David & Ciara

Joy Proposal Story: David & Ciara

Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?

I bought David a ride in a hot air balloon for his birthday, but little did I know he was as terrified of heights as I was! He did pretend he wasn’t, though. We had to pick a date that had no wind or clouds. Basically, David chose one of the only ways to propose where he had no control over when it would happen. He bought a ring, booked a date for the flight and hoped for the best. Luckily, the weather was perfect and after a few tries (it is very loud due to the burners) he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I was totally shocked and ecstatically happy!

Making our wedding website! It helps me remember all of the exciting times we have had together when we share our story and photos with our friends and family.

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?

We have one day a week where we discuss wedding organization (wedding Wednesday) and Friday nights we never talk about the wedding. It definitely helps to keep us organized while keeping the stress down.
