Joy Proposal Story: Orianne & Tanner

Joy Proposal Story: Orianne & Tanner

Give us the proposal details! When? Where? How?

I invited him to tag along on our family vacation in Europe. He was hesitant at first, not wanting to intrude on family time. But, my family was insistent on him coming so that we could spend more time together. Our itinerary started in Spain and ended in Southern France. I had a bit of an inkling on whether or not he might propose, thinking Europe would be a romantic proposal! Prior to the trip, I was researching fun things to do near Barcelona and one of the must-see spots was Montserrat, a multi-peaked rocky range. So, on our last day in Spain, we visited Montserrat before sunset where he proposed! It was such a beautiful and romantic setting.

What has been your favorite experience planning the wedding?

Although wedding planning can be stressful, Tanner is very hands-on. He knows that I get stressed easily so to alleviate those feelings, he has been so kind in assisting me and making me realize even further how blessed I am to have such a loving and caring future husband!

How do you stay sane under the pressures of wedding planning?

Breathe and take it easy. Also, it is important to go on non-wedding dates. Weddings can consume your conversation and time, so it’s critical to have times where you and your partner just enjoy each other’s company!

What is your favorite part of using Joy for your wedding?

I love the templates!
